Known as the City of Trees, Boise Idaho has over 85 parks offering a vibrant outdoor experience with a wide range of outdoor activities. 

 

Julia Davis Park 

Location: 670 Julia Davis Dr, Boise, ID 83702 

Founded in 1907, Julia Davis Park is Boise’s oldest park. It offers attractions such as the Boise Zoo, Boise Art Museum, and the Idaho State Historical Museum, in addition to the Rose Garden and access to the Boise River Greenbelt. 

 

Ann Morrison 

Location: 1000 S Americana Blvd, Boise, ID 83706

Established in 1959, Ann Morrison is a 153-acre park featuring a variety of recreational amenities including bocce courts, tennis courts, disc golf, an outdoor gym, a playground, and sports fields for soccer, football, and cricket. The park also features Treasure Valley Dog Island, a year-round destination for families and their dogs with picnic tables and space for running around. 

 

Camel's Back Park

Location: 1200 Heron St, Boise, ID 83702 

Located in the north end of Boise Idaho, Camel's Back Park offers picnic tables, open play spaces, a playground, and sports courts for tennis and volleyball. Positioned at the back end of the park, the Camel’s Back Reserve has trails for those interested in hiking.

 

Kathryn Albertson

Location: 1001 S Americana Blvd, Boise, ID 83706

This beautiful 41-acre park is home to a wide range of wildlife from birds to salamanders. This park features paved walking trails, bird watching, and reservable outdoor gazebos. 

 

Esther Simplot Park

Location:  3206 W Pleasanton Ave, Boise, ID 83702

Esther Simplot Park is a 55-acre urban oasis featuring 23 acres of ponds ideal for fishing, wading, and swimming. The park offers open play areas, wetlands, a playground, and Friendship Island.
