BOISE, Idaho (May 7, 2007) — Downtown Boise's Hotel 43 announces its grand opening following a six-month, multi-million-dollar renovation that transformed a Boise landmark into a luxury destination boutique hotel. The hotel's redesigned interior includes a stunning lobby with a 60-foot ceiling, remodeled meeting facilities, and numerous upgrades and stylish furnishings in its guest rooms and suites.

"Our guests experience exquisite surroundings the minute they set foot in our door, from the original artwork in the lobby to the beautifully-appointed guest rooms and plush robes hanging in the closet," said Lisa Benjamin, Hotel 43's general manager. "We provide a personal level of service that larger hotels just can't offer."

Beyond luxury accommodations, Hotel 43 offers guests an experience unique to Boise. The hotel website at suggests a list of things to do and see in the city. The guest rooms feature photographs of Boise's urban landscape, and the custom "43" artwork in the lobby was designed by Boise artist Amy Westover, who also designed the public art adjacent to the hotel. Even the name Hotel 43 is unique to Boise: Boise is on the 43rd parallel, Idaho is the 43rd state, and 43 is a prime number, which ties to the hotel's promise of a singular experience.

The hotel offers guests upscale food and beverages with a local flavor as well. As part of its distinctive service, each guest receives a signature Hotel 43 chocolate hand-made by a local chocolate confectionary. Guests can also try the Hotel 43 martini and signature Idaho dishes in Chandler's, a premier steak and seafood restaurant inside Hotel 43.

"Hotel 43 is absolutely a one-of-a-kind experience for travelers looking for personal service and amenities to make their stay unique and interesting," said Debbie Kapson, regional director of sales for Interstate Hotels and Resorts, which manages the hotel.

Hotel 43‘s remodeled guest rooms feature luxury bed linens, 32-inch flat-panel televisions, stylish new furniture, and new carpeting and drapes. The hotel's top floor suites boast stunning views of Idaho's capitol building, the Boise foothills, and city skyline. Each suite also has a large jetted soaking tub, granite-countertop wet bar, and in-room refrigerator.

Hotel 43's Metro Café serves breakfast and lunch daily. Chandler's Restaurant serves dinner nightly and features a premium wine cellar and martini bar.

Hotel 43 is located in the heart of downtown Boise.
