December 19, 2018

BOISE, Idaho (21 March 2007) ? Hotel 43 announced today it has donated over $20,000 from auction proceeds to the Boise Contemporary Theater (BCT). The hotel recently hired a local auction service to sell its former guest room furnishings after completing a total renovation of its lobby, guest rooms, and meeting facilities.

"We know that Boise thrives and our business thrives when the city has a strong and flourishing arts community. The Boise Contemporary Theater offers outstanding theater locally, and we're proud to support that," said Lisa Benjamin, Hotel 43's general manager.

Matthew Clark, BCT's artistic director, said the theater will use the money in its 2006-2007 general operating budget, half of which must come from corporate or private donations. "Hotel 43 filled a vital need in the annual funding for the theater company" Clark said. As a result of the donation, Hotel 43 was named the theater's season hospitality sponsor.
